6 years ago, I spoke about "The Rise of the Machines" at a risk conference. In a room full of risk professionals, I presented my predictions for the future and discussed the emerging trends to automate risk workflows, make better use of data, adopt NLP for data classification and deploy machine learning in fraud controls. We looked ahead to generative AI and the impact such advances might have on the people in the room.
